Crete is a very popular destination, especially during August. We recopmmend that you book your tickets and accommodation early as prices tend to get higher when the demand increases. Already it looks like it’s going to be the first summer without pandemic related restrictions, therefore availability might be limited.<\/p>\n
The nearest airport and port to the places where we will be for the baptism are those of Chania. However, you can easily arrive in Heraklio, as it is only 2,5 hours away by car and there are plenty of things to do and see on the way to Chania.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The island is very big and the places to visit numerous. You will certainly need a car to get around if you want to visit different sights and beaches.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
